Description
Do you have a narcissist, sociopath, or psychopath in your life, or think that you might?
Do you continually feel anxious around someone in your life, but can’t pinpoint why?
Do conversations seem to go off track, leaving you feeling knocked off balance and confused?
Does it feel like they are making your life a living hell, but they insist that you are too sensitive, crazy, or to blame?
Perhaps you know you are being manipulated or abused, but don’t know how to make it stop. The Narcissist’s Playbook can help.
Some of the topics covered in The Narcissist’s Playbook are:
- What manipulation is and isn’t.
- How to spot manipulative behaviors early (and why most people struggle with this).
- How and why people get caught up with manipulators, and why they have a hard time breaking free.
- How to identify the emotional “hook” that is keeping you stuck in manipulation and what you can do about it.
- How to effectively disable manipulation as it is happening.
- How to identify the common personality traits that are frequently exploited by manipulators.
You can take back your life. The Narcissist’s Playbook tells you how.
If you are tired, beaten, attacked and need to find a way to survive and restore yourself from narcissistic abuse, then this book will give you the tools you need to get your life back!
This is a must read for anyone dealing with, divorcing, or co-parenting with someone who you think could be a narcissist or toxic person. This book untangled the nightmare experience I lived through for more than a decade with a covert narcissist. It all made sense and I finally understood what I had been through. If you ae looking for clarity, understanding, and validation for your experience this is the book. This author is amazing and I would recommend all of her books!
Goes well with all the other books on Narcissism that I have purchased recently in my quest to heal from my narcissist ex and family.
I think this book is a good introduction to Narcissim. Some of what the other describes, I knew. I like that she goes into great detail about different processes, theories, and even (what I suspect to be) her own experience.
My only complaint is that I wish the book was better edited. I am no editor nor am I an author. I am only critiquing from the perspective of someone who is well read and raised by a grammar **z*.
I’d recommend this book to anyone and everyone! It is important to be able to know when you are encountering manipulative behavior. This book teaches you just that!
