Really helpful book for understanding CAT. I am undertaking this therapy now and it is great to understand the theory and practice. The authors have a warm and accessible style coupled with clear clinical experience.
Thank you for writing this.
Highly recommended.
I found this book to be a fascinating and well written introduction to Cognitive Analytic Therapy, it was extremely well sectioned and set out, providing great examples throughout. I would recommend this to any therapist or trainee therapist who is interested in how past experiences, early patterns of behaviour and relationship dynamics might be replaying in their clients current lives. It certainly sparked an interest within me to learn more about CAT and how it might be useful or appropriate at times in certain client work.
