I listened to this book on Audible. The narrator’s voice was very soothing. The book itself was informative. The author did a lot of research on this topic. I enjoyed the guided meditations. I listened to this book in combination with some ambient music. It was a great pairing. I think I will purchase the book. It’s already on my wish list.
This book is brilliant. The author, who is a trauma therapist, blends these two concepts in a way that hasn’t been done before. As a surgeon, I can say she has a strong handle on the vagus nerve and its importance to healing. As I become curious about eastern spiritual practices how she sees the chakras in alignment with the vagus nerve is mind blowing. Well written and accessible. Looking forward to reading more from her.
