This book was alright. Basically it was everything I learned in group therapy. I was also hoping that it would have had a bigger chapter on meditation. Some chapters I felt were a matter of opinion rather than facts. Other than that, I think there could be better books out there.
Just received my book and after reading the first few pages I can feel that I’m stressed and need help. This book is what I’ve been looking for. Can’t wait to get deep into it and learn more about myself.

Reading this book felt like a close friend calling me out on my BS. Although the writing style doesn’t have a tone similar to that, the book did call me out and expose me to my own brain’s faulty thinking. The book required work. I did the exercises, I did invest the time to stop, think, reflect and look for examples from my own behavior or thinking patterns related to the topics in this book. It helped me tremendously to uncover some “truths”. Now with this awareness, I’ll have to get down and do the work to create new thinking patterns. This book caught me by surprise. I recommend.
